Nowadays, more and more people choose 100% compostable poop bags to replace traditional plastic bags, greener and have a better performance in appearance. Most people choose compostable poop bags only with the purpose of protecting the environment and contributing their share, to be frank, it is time to take action against white pollution now.

I think this is really progressing.

How many types of poop bags are on the market and what is the future of compostable poop bags? 

1. The most popular flat top poop bags.

Of course, the most popular poop bag is flat top, with size 23**33cm ( the most popular size) and thickness of 16/17/18/20mic, 15 pcs per roll with a paper core.

The production process is very mature, fully automatic machines are efficient enough, output for one automatic poop bag making machine is about 400kg per day, and our factory has 10 sets of this kind of  machines, day output is more than 2 tons to guarantee the lead time.

Flat top poop bag is the most cost-effective choice, the price range is USD4400-4800 per metric ton ( 1 side 1 color printing).

2. Poop bag with handles.

Poop bags with handles make it easier to tie, just like a small T-shrit bag, the size is (12+5.52)*33cm or similar.

The bag-making machine is different from flat-top bags, so factories which can produce flat top bags may not provide T-shirt type.

The price is higher, not only because few factories have this kind of machine, but also because there is a waste parts need to be cut, some factory quote it USD6700 -7500 per ton!

FUKUN now introduced only one auto machine for T-shirt poop bags, the daily output is 300-400kg, not bad right? we settle the “Fresh price” at USD5280 per metric ton only! Anyone who is interested in this pls contact me for details.

3. Drawstring poop bag.

It's not very common on the market, few brands there provide this kind of poop bag.

The advantage of drawstring poop bag is that they are very Convenient to use, easy to tie, but there are also some obvious shortage for it.

① More materials are used making it more expensive. Due to the flap, the length is longer, so in same size, for example 23*33cm, drawstring poop bag is the most expensive one.

② No mature special machine make the appearance not as good as the former 2 bags, looks irregular. Most of the Drawstring garbage bag-making machine have a  minimum width requirement of 30 cm, so poop bag is still too small for this kind of machine, considering the market share, perhaps oneday special machines can also be developed.

Good ideas from clients but hard to achieve:

Some clients ask for a poop bag which has different colors or patterns in a roll, for example, the last 3 bags in the roll have different colors, this makes the last 3 poop bags a good reminder, really an ingenious idea.

But the shortage is also very obvious, say the bags have to be rolled manually! Films are made in one color each roll, so it is impossible to change to another one during the bag-making progress, workers have to stick different colors of bags together and then roll them.

What is the most expensive during the production progress? Labor! This way make the poop bags far away from functionality, however it's undeniably an excellent product with brilliant ideas.
