What are the products that can replace compostable bags?

Degradable plastic bags:

Polylactic acid (PLA) plastic bag: It is a polymer obtained by polymerizing lactic acid as the main raw material. The production process of PLA is pollution-free, and the product can be biodegraded. After use, PLA can be composted and decomposed into carbon dioxide and water at temperatures above 55 ° C or by oxygen enrichment and microbial action, achieving material circulation in nature without affecting the environment. It has reliable biocompatibility, good mechanical properties, and ease of processing, and can be used in industries such as packaging and textiles.

Polyadipic acid/polybutylene terephthalate (PBAT) plastic bags: belong to thermoplastic biodegradable plastics, generally produced from fatty acids and butanediol through petrochemical or biological fermentation processes. PBAT has good ductility and elongation at break, as well as good heat resistance and impact resistance. It has good film-forming properties and is easy to blow film. It is widely used in the fields of disposable packaging film and agricultural film.

Starch based plastic bag: It is a blend of modified starch and biodegradable polyester (such as PLA, PBAT, PBS, PHA, etc.), which is completely biodegradable, compostable, and environmentally friendly. However, the service life, mechanical properties, and printing performance of starch based plastic bags are relatively poor.

Environmentally friendly paper bags:

Ordinary paper bags: made of pulp, widely sourced and renewable. It can be used in shopping, packaging and other scenarios. After being discarded, it is easy to degrade in the natural environment and can be recycled and reused. However, ordinary paper bags have relatively poor waterproofing and durability, making them less suitable for packaging damp or heavy items.

Wax coated paper bag: Applying a layer of wax on the surface of the paper enhances its waterproof and moisture-proof properties, and can be used to package items that require humidity, such as food. However, wax coating treatment may to some extent affect its degradation performance.

Kraft paper bag: With high strength and durability, it is commonly used for packaging heavy items such as books, stationery, etc. The color and texture of kraft paper bags also give them a certain degree of beauty and artistic sense, making them an environmentally friendly packaging choice.

Non woven eco-friendly bag: Made of non-woven fabric, non-woven fabric is a type of non-woven fabric, usually made from materials such as polypropylene. Non woven eco-friendly bags have good breathability, flexibility, and durability, and can be used multiple times. After disposal, it can degrade in the natural environment, but the degradation rate is relatively slow. It can replace plastic bags for shopping, advertising, and other purposes.
