What is the market price of biodegradable bag raw materials?

The market price of biodegradable bag raw materials varies depending on factors such as specific material types, quality, and market supply and demand. Here is an approximate price range for some common biodegradable bag raw materials:

Polyadipic acid/polybutylene terephthalate (PBAT):

At the beginning of 2021, the price of PBAT was around 23000-28000 yuan/ton. After a period of market fluctuations and changes in production capacity, the price is currently relatively stable, but it may also vary due to different manufacturers, different qualities, and purchasing quantities. The current price of PBAT in the market is roughly between 15000 yuan and 20000 yuan per ton.

Polylactic acid (PLA):

The price of PLA is relatively high, usually ranging from 20000 to 30000 yuan/ton. Its price fluctuations are also influenced by factors such as raw material prices (such as corn), production processes, and market demand.

Starch based materials:

The price of starch based biodegradable materials is relatively low, generally ranging from 10000 to 15000 yuan/ton. However, the performance of starch based materials is relatively weak and usually requires blending or modification with other materials to improve their properties.

It should be noted that the above prices are for reference only, and actual market prices may vary constantly. With the continuous development of biodegradable material technology and the increase in production capacity, prices may also fluctuate.
